Job Summary:
The role is mainly responsible for developing application solutions for Customer Success projects as requested by the Customer Success Digital Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
Develop solutions within a best practice Agile framework to include, but not limited to
Providing accurate estimations
Updates at daily stand-ups
Testing applications
Attending retrospectives and sprint reviews
Leading user acceptance testing sessions
Provide ongoing support to Customers
Supporting the Data#3 sales process where appropriate
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies put forward applicable strategies for incorporating these for the betterment of developed solutions.
Adhere to development standards defined by the Customer Success Digital Team Lead.
Provide Level 3 technical support to customers using solutions developed by Customer Success.
Adhere to industry recognized best practice in the development of application solutions.
Assess and evaluate risk and understand the implications of new technologies and their deployment as new concepts and or innovative solutions within the framework of the Data#3 business
Assist with the creation and development of reusable IP
As required mentor other team members in new technologies and work practices
Contribute to enhancing the working relationships within Customer Success and between the other Data#3 divisions
Provision of end user training and design documentation
Promote Data#3 culture which results in both staff and customer satisfaction
Undertake training in a professional manner and manage completion of assignments in accordance with defined time frames
Additional Responsibilities
Uphold and adhere to Data#3s core values, guidelines, policies and procedures
Represent Data#3 in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
You are required to perform your duties safely without risk to your own health and safety or the health and safety of others
You are required to be flexible to work in additional roles or capacities or take on additional or varied duties, as may be assigned to you, that you are skilled and capable of performing. Data#3 may alter your position, position description, position title, location and responsibilities in accordance with changing business needs and priorities.
As part of your position, in addition to (c) above, you:
may be required to perform your duties off-site, including at customer, vendor/partner and supplier sites, which require, as a condition of entry, you to hold a National Police Certificate
may be responsible for accessing internal and third party computer systems containing highly sensitive confidential corporate and personal information
may be engaged in capacities that require Data#3 to have the highest degree of confidence that you will perform your duties with a high level of honesty and integrity.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a software developer
Proven experience in an IT development environment using a variety of technologies
Proven experience in developing robust and scalable Web applications
Understand key software development concepts such as Polymorphism and Inversion of Control.
Understand the principles of multi-threaded and asynchronous coding
Experience in Agile development, methodologies, terminologies, and tools
Experience with test-driven development
Experience with integrating disparate systems desirable.
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers of varying technical ability
Knowledge of recognized user interface design principles
Relevant Experience with the following:
ASP.NET Web API
C#
.Net Framework (.Net Core experience highly desirable).
SSDT and Database Projects
Enterprise grade source control systems such as TFS and GIT
RESTful web development
AngularJS or ReactJS
JavaScript
Experience with data visualization and charting technologies.
HTML5/CSS3
SQL Server ( SQL Azure preferable).
