Role Summary

We're looking to onboard a Software Developer to build enhancements and support post-implementation/BAU for mission-critical systems. The role spans hands-on development (Java & COBOL), SQL analytics, defect resolution, and close collaboration with project leads and business users.
Responsibilities

Feature Delivery:
Design, develop, and enhance application features inJava
andCOBOL
; document technical specs and test cases.SQL & Reporting:
Write and optimizeSQL
queries for reports, analytics, and data validation.Production Support:
Troubleshoot post-go-live issues across Java/COBOL apps and databases; perform root-cause analysis and performance tuning.Quality & Testing:
Execute unit/integration testing; assist UAT; ensure changes meet functional acceptance criteria.Collaboration:
Partner with project leads, users, and developers to refine requirements, improve processes, and drive automation.Must-Have Skills

Practical experience with
Java
andCOBOL mainframe
development. StrongSQL
skills (querying, tuning, data analysis). Solid understanding ofSDLC
, change requests, and release management. Sharp problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders. Team player with ownership mindset.Nice-to-Have

). Frontend exposure (React
