Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities The software developer is responsible in support, testing, designing, and building the backend system of Sift&Pick.

You will get the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team consisting of developers, operations, marketing, data analysts, and merchandising. We embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning. You will work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment. In particular, you will:

• Gather and address technical and design requirements.

• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.

• Use Spring Boot and Spring Cloud to design and implement highly available & resilient distributed systems with RESTful API

• Design data schema on RDMBS

• Work with Continuous Delivery principles and related tools (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

• Provide technical support for S&P customer service.
  

We believe that you will be an excellent fit for this role if you:

• Hold a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field

• Have >3 years of experience in programming

• Proven work experience in Java 1.8 or above, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA (RDBMS)

• Hold an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

• Are familiar with Microservices design in AWS Cloud Services

• Retain teamwork with a problem-solving attitude.

• Are excellent in analytical and time management skills.

• Hold a strong understanding of Design Patterns, Architectural Blueprints, UML, and Application Design

• Possess outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
