Prior experience in building solutions for video streaming, mobile app or advertising is required. • Actively experiment and prototype with novel technologies that improve the customer experience or solve business needs
• Work with multiple internal and external engineering teams to learn and apply best practices
• Organize and participate in collaborative Q&A sessions, workshops, presentations to share your technical know-how with the rest of the team
• Understanding of device-side software design principles for security, performance, and reliability
• Drive building customer experiences on mobile, TV (Living room devices) using cross platform UI libraries and graphics API
• Solve distributed systems and recommendation serving problems that manifest only at extremely high scale.
• Experience on Android and Player Technology selection, productization & scaling across platforms/devices

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Singapore, SGPBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong knowledge and production code experience in Java, C/C++ and Python
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- At least 5 years of experience in building scalable distributed systems.
- At least 2 years of experience with building Video Streaming platform related services.
- A willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly and deliver results
- Experience in OTT / Video Streaming industryPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master\'s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience building programmatic ad serving systems.
- Hands-on experience with open-source technologies, web-services and big data.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems design, including scalability and fault tolerance.
- 5 years of experience in distributed technologies, object-oriented design & programming methodologies and data storage (relational, key-value) would be a plus.
- Experience in OTT / video streaming industry specifically in one of the three areas is a plus: 1) Personalization and ML or Transcoding technology 2) Experience working in Android & Player Tech 3) Experience building CMS systems & Video Catalogue Management systems
