Manages development and test personnel including hiring, work evaluations, personnel action recommendations, etc.
Mentors, develops, and grows a team of high-performing software development professionals.
Works with team members to prioritize, refine, assign, and evaluate development work.
Acts as an interface between the team and upper management, including regularly reporting on development progress, risks, and mitigating actions.
Manages team development risks and removes impediments to the team\'s progress.
As necessary, contributes to the software development life cycle as a member of an agile development team, including participating in standard agile activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, retrospectives, etc.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Ensures products are developed in accordance with cybersecurity best-practices and policies.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience building and shipping software is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
