Software Development Team Leader
Singapore
Upto SGD 96K Base
Our client, a leading global provider of Trade and Supply Chain Finance solutions, catering to banks and large corporations around the world, is looking to hire a Cobol Developer focusing on the APAC market.
As a key member of the APAC team, you will play an integral role in working with a team of developers in Asia Pacific. You will be involved in building up & supporting new implementations and post-implementation activities, such as software installations, environment creation and maintenance, production support, problem analysis & solutioning.
You will be involved in activities such as:

• Working as a team player and manage day to day interaction with clients technical teams
• Production support, enhancement and incidents solving within the banking environment, handling client’s critical production issues
• Managing software development projects in Agile environments
• Having the experience to write FSD and HLD as per to client requirements

You should possess:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in COBOL development tools
• Solid Knowledge in SQL (DB2 /ORACLE/Linux)
• JAVA – a PLUS
• Experience in CICS, Dockers Containers – Advantage
• A team player with an outgoing, positive and customer oriented attitude, a people person
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex tasks for wider understanding
• Profound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly self-motivated personality with a strong work ethic and a “can do”- attitude
• Flexibility to be working onsite – client premises in Singapore
