GATOR is a wearable device with a mobile application that leverages a cloud-connected integrated sensor platform to provide accurate biomechanical measurements of the knee joint. Build impactful solutions that change People's life A team player who can collaborate with Doctors, Engineers, and Regulators What You Do Development of Medical software/application on the Android platform with Cloud functionality with a focus on improving usability, runtime performance, application/data security, resource utilisation, and data visualisation. Design test plans and performs functional testing of new features and applications. Oversee the configuration, deployment and maintenance of new software features and applications. Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of product development projects, as well as seamless and robust implementation. Prepare technical documentation of software features for regulatory clearance. (e.g. FDA, CE Mark) Participation in ad hoc software assignments as required. What You Need Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields. Experience in software development exhibits strong programming abilities in Java and Kotlin, deep familiarity with the application of data structures, and design patterns in production-level code. Demonstrable capability and knowledge in Android application development, including custom UI and animations, multi-threaded programming, and deployment of the app to Play Store. Strong knowledge of common client-server application interface design standards (e.g. RESTful), and common network protocols (e.g. TCP-IP, HTTP). Good familiarity with source code management and continuous integration tools (e.g. Git). Knowledge of releasing updates and hands on experience of deploying application to play store. Good to have Highly self-motivated towards MedTech and deeply passionate about software coding with a strong sense of product ownership. Ability to perform independent research to solve complex technical problems. Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic and technically diverse team environment. Certified in AWS, Azure, and Java preferable. Good written and oral communication skills.
