Join us on our mission.Get to know the roleWe are looking for an Android Engineer to take part of the Team. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality deliverables, spanning across multiple key services powering end to end user journeys across all the different products of our superapp. These services are one of the top entry points for Grab services, with millions of visitors every day across 8 countries in total. We\'re seeking candidates who embody accountability, display a relentless hunger for learning and improvement, thrive in autonomy, and possess the drive to consistently go above and beyond expectations.The Day-to-Day ActivitiesDesign and write high quality and well tested code in RxJava, Kotlin.Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers, data scientists and product managers to architect and implement featuresActively participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standardsBrainstorm innovative ideas, identify problems, propose and implement solutions geared towards scale and performanceTake initiative to improve the codebase proactively.
