Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 3 years of experience in software engineering or related technical field.
  
• Experience working with Java.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master\'s degree or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch or real-time event processing, and estimated time to launch workflows solutions.
  
• Experience developing or training models using machine learning technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
  
• Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  
• Ability to take initiative and propose solutions when faced with hard, ambiguous software engineering problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teams within and outside of the core team and across sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy abuse policies and rules necessary to keep Google compliant with regulatory concerns.
  
• Design manual and automated abuse verdict generation workflows and enforcement for proactive and reactive content moderation.
  
• Collaborate with machine learning experts to train and deploy automated content moderation classifiers and rule engines.
  
• Develop batch pipelines to process large corpus of data.
  
• Contribute to the team\xe2\x80\x99s engineering practices and culture around testing, design and code review, mentorship, and hiring.
