Software Engineer Internship
Job Description
GUUD, a new digital way to trade globally, is a technology platform and group of businesses under vCargo Cloud. The GUUD group references the UN/CEFACT Buy-Ship-Pay model to cover all aspects of trade facilitation, bypassing long-standing barriers to trade, and digitally transforming trade processes so they become simpler, more efficient and more inclusive.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Liaise and work well with business Project Managers to manage development timelines, assign priorities and fixes to ensure prompt delivery of a well engineered solution
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build front-end of applications with appealing visual design
Build features and applications that are mobile device responsive
Develop and manage well functioning databases and applications according to industry norms
Write effective APIs
Write technical documentation
Create security and data protection settings
Contribute ideas and experience to new solutions
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree in computer science or equivalent
Tech or computing background
Positive learning attitude
