Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Transforms functional requirements into software design and implements in adherence to the software architecture.
• Takes ownership of a micro-service or project, including design, implementation, testing, integration (in-house) and documentation.
• Develop and test software in accordance with requirements, test cases and design documentation.
• Investigate issues in production environments and maintenance of deployed SW including urgent root cause analysis and resolution of defects.
• Perform gap analysis to identify potential point of failures in the software design.
• Plans/estimates stories, epics, and review backlogs and participates in agile ceremonies.
• Supports continuous improvement, presents alternatives for architectural review.
• Work with Product Management and Solution Management on refining business requirements and creating technical requirements, test cases, design specifications and development tasks.
• Guarantee the compliances of the QA rules and guidelines.
• Provide guidance and best practices to implementation projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Technology or equivalent.
• With at least 5 years of relevant work experience and track record in Software Development.
• Experience in designing and developing Unit Testable Microservices in either Kotlin, GO or Java (SE, EE)
• Experience in Spring boot and Test-driven development.
• Experience in using software development tools like Slack, Confluence, JIRA, Git, Angular, Nomad, Swagger and Kubernetes.
• Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts using Katalon.
• Passionate about code quality and coding best practices.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, objected oriented design principles and architecture.
• Understanding of Relational database concepts, architecture and SQL programming.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Robotics/Automation experience a plus.
• Knowledge on Docker, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hashicorp stack is a plus.
