The Sensors Division undertakes research and development in a wide range of sensor technologies, including radar, acoustics, electro-optics and underwater, to provide the SAF with a recognised battlefield situation picture.

Software Engineer (Sensors)(2-Year Contract)



In this role, you will:

Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to architect, optimise and refactor ML and Image Processing algorithms for deployment via containers Engage in the end-to-end development lifecycle of software solutions, from eliciting requirements to developing, testing, deploying and iteratively improving systems to meet user needs and mission objectives Conduct security scanning to identify and rectify software vulnerabilities (e.g. CVEs) Collaborate with the Infrastructure provider to put cutting edge algorithms into the secured production environment Document and train end users on the use of the delivered software solutions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering Experience in programming skills such as Python, C++ and Javascript Experience in Containerization and Image processing. Experience in signal processing is a bonus Experience in Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology Experience in containerization using Docker or equivalent Familiarity with DevSecOps concept and toolchains.
