DCC Technology team is part of broader Custody technologies under Securities Services BU. We offer technology solutions for direct market connectivity to our clients for settlements and asset servicing. The technology stack is a good mix of in house and vendor platforms using open source technologies which gives a diverse exposure in terms of solution design and delivery management.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, information technology
  • 5 years of Software development hands on experience.
  • Advance knowledge of core Java code writing using the latest open source frameworks - i.e. Spring framework, Hibernate framework, MVC Framework
  • Understanding of technology architecture and ability to understand the complex system flows
  • Java/J2EE, JMS based messaging, Multi-threaded programming, JavaScript, JSP, AJAX, CSS.
  • Debugging skills - Java, web app and SQL debugging
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL writing
  • Apache, Tomcat, Maven
  • Web Services
  • SQL performance tuning, web application performance analysis and tuning, analyzing performance metrics
  • Hands on experience on shell scripts
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Ability to conduct business analysis and comprehend functional requirements

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Prior domain experience in settlements and asset servicing functions
  • Ability to articulate and present to business audience
  • Agile development experience.
