The Role

What’s the role?

• This is a software developer role located in Singapore Metropolis office. The team is a multi-location software development team, supporting trading software used globally by one of Shell’s biggest businesses.
• You will work directly with business, in person and virtually, to understand business requirements, issues, and implement the software solutions.
• While working independently, you will also be well supported by other experienced team members.
• Work assignments will rotate between application support and projects development work.

What we need from you

• Minimum of 4 years of software development experiences
• Experiences in programming languages similar to Java, C#, and C++
• Knowledge of development life cycle and support of applications
• Understands software design/architectures, software quality management and coding standards
• Independent working in a fast-paced business environment; managing multiple delivery priorities
• Able to perform in virtual, cross-functional, cross-cultural teams
• Keen eyes for details and appetite to learn
• Experiences in trading/ETRM/Endur are preferred, though not mandatory
