You will be part of the Solution Engineering team that resides in Singapore. Your focus is to designs and develops new technical solutions/capabilities to solve large, complex business problems and deliver new capabilities. Responsible for technical planning, designing, development and modification of new solution specifications and application. This includes technical design of content structure, user/process flows and interfaces. Proficient in information technology, platforms and architecture. Manages business stakeholders' expectation in the technical aspects of designing and developing solutions such as supply chain tools, data analytics and dashboard development until deployment to turn data into information followed by the actionable insight to drives business decisions. The solution is expected to expand across Agilent globally to address similar business problem at scale. The Solution Engineering team works on various industry 4.0 projects that comprises of hardware and software automation along with production/supply chain efficiency projects. Strong project management skill, interpersonal/communication skill, supply chain experience/knowledge, data science, statistic and programming is preferable. Who are you: Understanding of the front end technologies like [React, Angular or Vue] - Examples to be filled Strong in backend development and ETL frameworks such as SQL, SSIS & NoSQL (i.e MongoDB or equivalent). Strong in building APIs and web services using RESTful. You have experience or worked with a general purpose programming language such as C#, JavaScript and Python. You have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals. Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Experience in architecture and design of new and current systems deployed into production. Experience working with AWS services (S3, IoT Core, LakeFormation, Glue, EC2 and Kinesis). Experience in DevOps (CI/CD, Atlassian defect tracking, Bitbucket) & DataOps, building and deploying infrastructure with AWS. You are a passionate learner who isn't afraid of new tools and technologies. The Job: Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with global and business stakeholders to achieve elegant solutions across 9 sites using Agile methodology. Stay up to date on latest industrial technology trend, leverage, and integration into the design and solutioning in software development life cycle Develop and implement software on premise and cloud-based with DevOps for graphical user interfaces or DataOps for data collection, data analytics, data lake to optimize supply chain, planning and production operation efficiency. Analyze complex patterns or trends, interpret operational needs, and develop creative & innovative solutions involving data model design/ reporting assembly/ application structure using statistical technique. Work closely with IT Information Security and Risk Management to converge with OT and address cyber security for both internal and external integration (i.e. software libraries, on-boarding new solution/supplier, Security Risk Assessment (SRA) and Risk Acceptance (RA)) Perform validation & verification testing, support ongoing maintenance, documentations and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Conduct solution training, handle technical enquiries and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven 5+ years' experience as a Software Engineer Proven advanced verbal and written communication skills in communicating needs, plans and achievements to people at all levels. Capable of delivering on multiple competing or changing priorities with little supervision Strong analytic skills in data collection, data cleaning, organizing, analysis and reasoning to disseminate enormous information in detail. Familiar with various operation systems (i.e Linux, Windows You must have a Bachelors's or Masters's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum of 8+ years relevant experience in software development, data analytics and supply chain.
