Organization & Role
The Teradyne Software Engineering team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, technically driven Software Engineer focusing on debug, analysis, and development of software drivers to address customer issues on the UltraFLEX platform within the IG-XL software. The candidate will interface with a number of organizations on a daily basis including field support organizations to address customer issues.
Responsibilities
- Strong software debug skill in complex systems
- Proficiency in C#, C++, .Net and COM/ATL required
- Working knowledge of VB required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills of complex systems is required
- Knowledge of UML Design and Rational Products (Clearcase, Rational Rose, Rational Purify, Rational PureCoverage, Rational Quantify…) is a plus
- Ability to understand and debug complex a system is required
- Ability to work as part of software development team required
- Prior ATE experience and/or hardware knowledge is a plus
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Desired: 2+ years’ experience with general software development experience with commercial applications
- Project work involving developing software applications that control hardware products
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design and software data structures, and debug tools and techniques
