Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of software application. You will work closely with the data engineers and data scientists within the innovation team.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in software development including developing back-end/software engineering solutions in API.
- Strong hands-on backend programming experience in Java and/or Python.
- Strong programming exposure with web technologies such as JavaScript, SQL AJAX, XML/JSON, HTML, React.js
- Understanding of REST API/Micro-service architecture and ability to develop design patterns for specific technical problems/stereotypes.
- Some work experience with API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications.
- Strong in user requirements gathering, maintenance, and support.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, pro-active and able to plan.
- Prior work experience in liaising with peers and supporting business stakeholders in North Asia market especially China.
- You MUST BE based in Singapore currently and has relevant work experience in Singapore.
