Skills Union is a leading digital learning company focused on preparing students for careers in the digital economy. We are working closely with NTU to deliver software engineering bootcamps that equip learners with the skills, tools and mindset to help them succeed as software engineers in todays rapidly evolving digital economy.

About The Role

You will be leading a cohort of up to 30 students, and playing a leading role teaching our software engineering bootcamp - run over 6 months. The working hours are part-time on weekday evenings delivering the program online, plus in-person delivery on Saturday mornings, which will be at One North (Buona Vista).

\xef\xbb\xbfYou will be joining a global network of instructors, trainers and program managers, working closely with our team in Singapore. We have a curriculum in place that has been delivered to hundreds of students.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbf- Prepare and deliver an exceptional student learning experience, using our active project-based learning approach, and the curriculum materials provided.
\xef\xbb\xbf- \xef\xbb\xbfTo develop and supplement written materials and content as needed, to provide students with the skills, tools and knowledge they need for their first job.
\xef\xbb\xbf- Maintain and update the student syllabus, including learning objectives, required homework and assignments, and deadlines for assessments and projects.
\xef\xbb\xbf- Provide daily on-demand video and chat support for students as they move through the program assignments.
\xef\xbb\xbf- To provide compassionate, constructive feedback to students, as well as coaching and inspiring students to help them reach their full potential.
\xef\xbb\xbf- To source and / or create projects and assignments for our students, and to create suitable assessments and grading rubrics where necessary to ensure our students are adequately assessed.
\xef\xbb\xbf- Actively contribute to our growing global community, and work with all or the other members of the global Skills Union team to ensure the success of our students.
