Job Summary

The Digital Experience team builds software platforms and architecture for customers interacting through our portal and APIs. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead one or more engineering squads, serving as a hands-on technical mentor and strategic leader. You will hire, manage, and develop engineering talent while driving delivery against defined goals and OKRs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering squads to deliver high-quality, scalable systems with measurable metrics (delivery speed, availability, defect rate). Hire, retain, and develop top engineering talent through situational leadership and quarterly performance reviews. Define and refine engineering vision in collaboration with product and leadership teams. Establish strong engineering culture focused on fundamentals, architecture, and scalability. Drive operational excellence and manage technical debt in partnership with Product Owners and Managers.

Required Qualifications

Leadership Experience:

Minimum 2 years managing engineering teams, including career development for 5+ engineers.

Technical Expertise:

8+ years in full-stack cloud-based application development using microservices architecture; proficiency in

Java

,

Node.js

, and

React

.

Project Delivery:

Proven track record of designing and implementing complex, low-latency web services for large consumer bases.

Collaboration:

Experience leading mission-critical projects with cross-functional teams (product, design, business).

AI Tools:

Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for application development.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building engineering culture and scaling teams across geographies. Familiarity with AI-driven business applications beyond coding tools
