Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on

Software Integration Manager

to lead and manage the integration of enterprise systems within a large-scale, mission-critical environment. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end system integration using internal resources. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset to ensure robust, scalable, and secure integration across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

Define and drive integration architecture, best practices, and standards across projects. Lead and mentor the internal integration development team, including system analysts and software engineers. Collaborate with solution architects, application owners, and infrastructure teams to ensure coherent and effective integration.

Project & Technical Delivery

Plan, track, and manage integration workstreams across multiple systems and domains. Review and approve integration specifications, data mapping, and interface designs. Oversee the implementation of integration components using: +

Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, REST/SOAP services, MQTT

+

JSON, XML, ETL pipelines

Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of integration solutions.

Operational Excellence

Ensure production readiness through well-documented handovers to L2/L3 support teams. Oversee issue investigation and resolution for integration-related defects and incidents. Establish integration monitoring, health checks, and alerting mechanisms for live systems.

Governance & Compliance

Enforce version control, coding standards, and documentation for all integration components. Ensure all integrations comply with data security, audit, and regulatory policies.

Requirements

Mandatory

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Singaporean Citizens only

Minimum

8 years of relevant experience

in software/system integration. At least

3 years of experience in a team leadership or management role

. Proven expertise in integration technologies (Kafka, IBM MQ, APIs) and patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub-sub). Hands-on experience with API development, middleware orchestration, data transformation, and message routing. Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD integration pipelines.

Preferred

Familiarity with Singapore Government ICT frameworks or large public sector projects. Experience with tools such as GitLab, or similar. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture is a strong plus. Professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Kafka) are advantageous.
