Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist Product Owner and Business Analyst in crafting user story acceptance criteria. Analyze and decompose complex software systems; design holistic test strategies. Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation frameworks. Develop test suites, including test scenarios and test cases. Apply a risk-based approach to test automation. Perform time-boxed exploratory testing. Maintain regression test suite in QA nightly builds. Refine smoke test suite in the Development CI environment. Lead system integration testing with other system owners. Manage user acceptance testing (UAT). Oversee defect life cycle, test artifacts, and repository. Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools. Take on secondary roles such as Application Performance Engineer or Application Security Engineer.

Experience and Skills Needed:

Minimum 3 years of experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Good interpersonal skills, including tactfulness. Strong presentation and listening skills. Experience in agile development environments is an added advantage. Familiarity with tools such as: Robot Framework SikuliX Selenium Playwright Micro Focus Testing Tools (Mobile Center, UFT, QC, Sprinter) EggPlant Certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst are a plus. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
