About the Role:

Responsible for generating revenue through the creation of sales opportunities and the closing of sales. Assists management in developing direct sales strategies and plans. This role necessitates a thorough understanding of business, finance, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts in field sales.

The Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales leads (inside sales)
  • Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
  • Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discusses customer concerns and suggestions
  • Focus efforts on product feedback, improvement, upgrades, and development
  • Exchange ideas and solutions with the sales, order processing, customer success, and support teams
  • Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management
  • Travel to and attend conferences, events and customer meetings as required
The Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Familiar with inside sales or commercial solutions selling
  • Good knowledge and understanding of business, financial, and the market
  • Familiarity with research databases selling is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written and presentation skills
  • Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
