We're looking for a skilled

Software Test Automation Engineer

to join our team.


In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial and payment systems. You will play a key role in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to final delivery, with a strong focus on test automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Analyze and review stakeholder requirements and user stories to ensure they are clear, testable, and verify that the definition of done can be met for every released feature Estimate testing scope and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and the project team. Develop and maintain comprehensive QA deliverables, including test plans, test cases and a robust testing framework Design, create and manage automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Java, Playwright, Cucumber, or RestAssured Conduct and coordinate system integration tests with external parties to validate data and system interactions Perform extensive manual functional and exploratory testing, including cross-browser and mobile testing Execute performance, load and security tests to ensure the system is both robust and secure Identify and document defects, perform root cause analysis and communicate impact to the development team Collaborate with developers to recommend design improvements and corrections throughout the development process Validate completed features against acceptance criteria and demonstrate tested stories during sprint reviews

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in testing financial or payment systems Proven experience in designing and developing end-to-end automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Java, Playwright, Cucumber, or RestAssured Demonstrated knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Unit, Integration, Functional, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) Experience with performance and security testing Relevant certifications, such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst, are a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment A strong passion for automation, standardization and best practices
