Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Quality Engineer (Senior Consultant) to join our client's team on a 12-month contract.
This role requires strong hands-on expertise in test automation (preferably with Playwright) and a strategic mindset towards software quality assurance. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex applications through robust testing strategies and close collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
• Define and drive QA strategy, ensuring best practices are implemented across testing processes.
• Conduct thorough end-to-end testing of complex applications, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
• Perform detailed debugging and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues in collaboration with developers.
• Design and implement automated testing pipelines and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners.
• Communicate testing results and quality updates effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Playwright or equivalent test automation frameworks.
• Atleast 7+ years of strong background in software quality assurance, test automation, and QA leadership.
• Expertise in designing and executing end-to-end automated tests for complex applications.
• Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and automated testing pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and related frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams alongside developers, BAs, and product owners.
