Collabera have Excellent job opportunity for Software Test EngineerJob Title: Software Test Engineer as leader classContract Duration: 12 monthsPayroll Company: Collabera SingaporeLocation: SingaporeWork Location: The working location is selected, depending on the TEST activity. The main working location is Tuas south avenue; Sin Mng is LTA facilities, it will be used for special test with customer (LTA); AMK is used for meetings etc.Own vehicle for commutation: We provide shuttle bus for person working at Tuas South, its route is from AMK to Tuas South Ave.We think it is better to have own vehicle due to location reason, but it is not mandatory.We are looking for the additional staff as leading functional test for ITS systems (embedded systems).1. Working Hours: 8:30AM to 5:30PM plus overtime works (2 hour plus 15 minutes break) in normal. It may be adjusted depending on test activity. Further overtime works including Sunday and/or Public Holiday shall be applied according to the Manager/MHI test leader's Instruction.2. Workplace: Workplace depends on the type of test. Below is the possible workplace.1) Test Site located on Tuas South Ave 72) MHI-AP office (Ang Mo Kio Ave 10)3) Customers' site location: 71 Chai Chee St, 10 Sing Ming Drive4) Other location specified by Test Leader in Singapore such as public road, public car park"Position Summary: "Based upon the MHI-AP standard/procedures, shall provide.to support performance test for ITS equipment and prepare test report."Responsibilities: Day to day responsibilities of the Test support engineer's activities include: To lead carrying out the functional or performance test based on test schedule or instruction from Test Manager or our engineer Responsible for making and updating test plan based on the information such as progress, software release schedule and test resource Responsible for considering test timeline on test day based on test duration for each test cases Responsible for assignment of test activity and roll to tester who work together based on test schedule Responsible for carrying out test including test preparation and configuration Execution of the test based on test scenarios / procedure with customer, and resolution of defects Collect test evidence (e.g., test data and log) from the equipment and upper stream system in the testing Understand specification and behaviour of the equipment and assess test result properly based on test procedure Responsible for creating test report based on test cases and format Responsible for preforming the explanation of test report to Clients/Customers Sharing the information for test results and defects with our developer and QA Troubleshoot for the test equipment and device if necessary Capable to learn system specification he/she has never learned Interfaces with MHI Site Management, Test conductor, client, consortium partner Committed to project Safety, Health, Environmental, Security, socioeconomic and Quality requirement Client responses and reporting will be required and shall be prompt, accurate and professional in all form, verbal and/or written. Provide the leadership for his/her responsibilities and is accountable for the results. Function as Key Team Member within a Team environment with every decision based on what is best for the TEAM.Knowledge And Skill Requirements 5 years or more of experience for software test engineer / verification of application as conducting functionality and regression testing Better to have experience of software testing in manual testing for embedded system Strong interpersonal communication skills and a successful team player Strong analytical skills and organisational skills. Excellent problem solving, debugging skills, investigative minds and paying attention Able to work under tight schedules and meet deadlines Good understanding of computer systems (Window, UNIX / Linux) and MS Office applications Basic knowledge for electronics / electrical and communication engineering Ability to understand system specification, test cases, procedure and expected results Class 3 driving license (not mandatory) Speaking and Writing is fluent in English Must be a team member and team player with leadership, motivation, and technical skillsJob Type: Contract
