Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our agile team supporting products for the Financial Industry. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress. Your expertise will help drive our automation strategy, ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery across our web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Testing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress frameworks.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Execute automated tests to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze and report test results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging automation tools or technologies.
• Advocate for automation within the software development lifecycle to improve efficiency.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure timely, quality releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Tester, with hands-on expertise in Selenium and Cypress.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and passionate about continuous learning and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
