Role Overview

Codex Solutions is seeking a

Principal Solution Architect (PSA)

to lead the design and standardization of scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.





Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the PSA will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of

mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Standards

: Lead the development of software architecture standards and practices aligned with the company's vision and business strategy.

Engineering & Delivery

: Design repeatable modules/components and provide technical guidance to software delivery teams to ensure timely and effective solution delivery.

Infrastructure & IT Operations

: Support the CTO in managing IT infrastructure for development and testing, including resource planning and review of IT infrastructure architecture.

Innovation & R&D

: Collaborate with the CTO and Chief Product Officer (CPO) to identify and implement cutting-edge technologies and operationalize R&D projects.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

: Work closely with other architects, customer leads, and stakeholders to align architecture standards with customer needs.

Risk Management & Security

: Identify and address security considerations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Competency Development

: Define and manage the technical competency roadmap for the organization in collaboration with the CTO.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in developing solution architectures for secure, mission-critical IT systems. Expertise in cloud-based (public or private) architectures, technologies, and services. Strong background in modern engineering processes and practices, including Agile and DevOps. Familiarity with government standards and preferences. Comprehensive understanding of performance, security, and latency considerations in solution design. Experience with blueprint design techniques and enterprise architecture best practices. Awareness of security threats and vulnerabilities, with the ability to design effective mitigation controls.
