Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solution proposals, data models that meet those requirements.
- Design and implement data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the business while adhering to Cloud (AWS / Microsoft Azure / GCP) best practices.
- Design and implement data storage solutions using Cloud Native services such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure NoSQL.
- Design and implement data storage and processing solutions using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Design and implement data processing solutions using AWS services such as Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EMR, and AWS Lambda, Azure Analytics Services, Azure HDInsight
- Develop and maintain data integration and migration strategies.
- Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate security controls and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuously monitor the data architecture for performance and scalability, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Lead technical discussions with potential customers, including demonstrations and presentations of the proposed data solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales materials. Provide technical support during the sales process and help answer customer questions.
- Develop and maintain data integration and migration strategies.
- Design and implement data visualization and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and QlikView.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions that meet business needs.
- Continuously monitor the data analytics environment for performance and scalability, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate security controls and policies.
- Possesses Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent discipline
- At least 12 to 15 years of experience with strong experience with Solution Architecture discipline including proven experience in Data architecture (i.e. data lake, data warehouse, data integration and advanced analytic architectures, etc.) and Cloud architecture (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, big data processing and data visualization
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView.
- Strong knowledge of data manipulation languages such as Spark, Scala, Impala, Hive SQL, Apache Nifi and Kafka necessary to build and maintain complex queries, streaming and real-time data pipelines
- Good fundamentals around security integration including SAML and data security and privacy such as data masking and tokenization techniques
- Good knowledge in DevOps engineering using Continuous Integration/ Delivery tools
- Knowledge of data integration and migration methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy standards and regulations.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
