& Requirements

Solution Architect is responsible for preparation/execution for the migration of client's current platform onto GCC (government commercial cloud) platform.

Responsibilities

(a) Analyze factors involved in business problems and provide solutions on the current (Hadoop) and future Cloud platform (AWS).


(b) Understand business needs and develop IT system migration work-plan.


(c) Contribute to the planning of application/infrastructure releases and configuration changes.


(d) Conduct task management for the team and leadership for junior members of the team.


(e) Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators.


(f) Liaise closely with various functions to ensure smooth implementation.

Requirements

(a) Degree/master's in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.


(b) At least ten (10) years of overall IT experience in maintaining the large-scale applications in various environments including migration projects.


(c) Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Hadoop / Big Data application projects.


(d) Hands-on working experience in Informatica product suite and Databricks tools preferred.


(e) Experience in IT project management and process flows.


(f) Understanding of HW and SW application structure and configuration methodologies.


(g) Experience in bridging business and engineering teams and linking business needs to suitable IT solutions.


(h) Able to lead and possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.


(i) Ability to motivate teams in challenging situations.


(j) Knowledge in understanding the structure of a business and how it uses technology and what its goals are would be preferred.


(k) Prior knowledge in healthcare is preferred.
