About the client:

Our client has a global footprint with more than 25,000 professionals contributing to more than US$5B annual revenue, they have been growing from strength to strength in their local office.

As part of their growth plan and succession planning, they are now looking for a motivated solution architect to be part of a growing team.

As a solution architect, your core responsibilities will include:

• Provide thought leadership for the trade transformation program within the bank, you will also drive technical discussions with vendors
• Acting as a technical lead, you will manage a team of developers in Singapore and India, mentor them in the coding process, understand the technical aspects of the various projects and present them to management
• You will review and sign off various development aspects of the projects as well as reviewing codes by vendors and ensure the quality of the software developed by them
• Review UX/UI design to ensure optimum level of web and device responsiveness
• Review Java, Javascript and various tools to ensure user experience, reliability, security and performance of various systems and software
• Support production migration, continuity testing and environment migration activities
• Stepping up to lead the team in the absence of the team lead and as and when necessary

Qualifications:

• Technically incline with more than 15 years in various technical capacities, a sound foundation in coding and designing of architectural systems, you will also have got proven track record in managing stakeholders to deliver projects within timeline and budget
• From a technical perspective, you will have experiences in frontend technologies, J2EE technologies, technical solution design, architecture and design patterns and modelling
• Any prior experience in financial services will be highly regarded
• As there will be massive stakeholder management involved, you should be a confident communicator and presenter
