An exciting opportunity as Solution Architect is now available with a large technology firm focusing on delivering digital services.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible taking on the exciting and challenging role of designing the architecture of a system. You will work closely with project managers, digital business analysts, and software engineers to steer the technical design direction and software architecture of the solution.

What you will be working on:

• Provide technical leadership and establish the direction for IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation approaches for the systems.
• Design the end-to-end architecture for a system and ensure that the detailed design and development align with the business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, digital business analysts, software engineers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Perform code reviews, make recommendations for code changes, and collaborate with the development team to resolve technical challenges.

What we are looking for:

• Strong in-depth software development background with at least 3 years as an architect involved in designing and implementing distributed applications.
• Proficiency in .Net and/or J2EE application design and implementation. Knowledge of server-side development, Microservices, web services, RESTful API, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Experienced in agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully translating business requirements into application architectural specifications and designing high-impact IT solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
• Experienced in providing guidance on IT architecture, standards, and implementation approaches. Manage technical project delivery and resolve challenges. Analyze performance and scalability improvements.
• Excellent written and presentation skills. Collaborate effectively with project managers, analysts, engineers, and vendors.
