We created, drive and lead the graph database category, and we're disrupting how organizations leverage their data to innovate and stay competitive.The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineering Manager to lead our ASEAN & India sales engineering team. This role is crucial for driving the technical sales strategy, managing a team of sales engineers, and working closely with the sales team to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales engineering, preferably within the enterprise software industry delivering complex solutions.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing sales engineers across the APAC region.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Partner with the Sales Leader and other functions to accelerate sales cycles, grow deals, and align on strategy
  • Participate in formulating key strategic decisions as a part of the Solutions Engineering leadership team
  • Ensure the team is aligned with the company's strategic goals and sales objectives.
Technical Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies to support the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
  • Provide technical leadership during sales engagements and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and address customer pain points, demonstrating how Neo4J solutions can solve their business challenges.
Customer Engagement:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices and repeatable processes to enable the team to conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and best practices for leveraging Neo4J technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product development.
  • Partner with marketing to create technical content and participate in events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Partner with the Professional Services team to effectively define and position Professional Services engagements to enhance customer value.
  • Support the customer success team in ensuring smooth post-sales transitions and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the sales engineering function.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the database, big data, or enterprise software industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed.
