We are seeking a dedicated Sommelier to curate exceptional beverage experiences and uphold Willow's commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the restaurant's wine, sake, and beverage programme, ensuring thoughtful selections that complement Willow's Asian fine-dining ethos. Assist the operations team with daily operational needs, including clearing tables, setting tables, and explaining dishes to guests. Engage confidently with guests, offering expert wine, sake, and beverage recommendations tailored to personal preferences and menu choices. Curate and execute wine, sake, and beverage pairings in collaboration with the culinary team. Manage all beverage inventory, including ordering, stock-taking, and cellaring procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and quality. Maintain and update the wine and sake lists, introducing new labels and seasonal selections that reflect current trends and guest preferences. Uphold exceptional service standards on the floor, ensuring that every guest enjoys a warm, polished, and memorable dining experience. Stay abreast of industry developments, particularly in the Asian fine-dining, wine, and sake markets.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of wines, sake, and beverage programmes; formal certifications such as WSET or CMS are a strong advantage. Good command of English. Experience with inventory management, procurement, and stock-taking. A collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly with both the culinary and service teams.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
