Sonographer / Radiographer: $2500 - $6500 Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform Ultrasound and X-ray imaging procedures on patients as requested by doctor.
- Prepare equipment and supplies required for any sonography procedures.
- Adhere to infection control guidelines (e.g. proper disposal of any biohazard substance and practice hand washing or hand rub).
- Ensure known allergies are duly documented
- Ensure correct patient and area of interest is being examined, imaged and labelled accordingly.
- Ensure the proper completion of all patient and imaging documentations.
- Perform routine check on radiology equipment
- Cleans and sterilizes equipment after use
- Reports and informs any malfunction of equipment
- Minimum a Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, Ultrasonography or equivalent
- Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) registration & R1 License
- Minimum of 6 months working experience as a sonographer
- Excellent patient service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Word and Excel applications
- Salary will be appropriately awarded at different levels according to work experience.
