The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with one of the world's largest food companies, and we are seeking an S&OP Senior Analyst to join their business permanently! As a sole contributor managing the SEA region reporting to the line manager based overseas, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial team in developing and managing the demand plan and sales targets on both an annual and quarterly basis, tracking availability and inventory of finished goods, while supporting new products development and run ad-hoc simulations to support commercial decisions.

The Job:
  • Lead development of annual budgets and quarterly planning cycles, including demand plans and sales targets, in alignment with regional and global business objectives
  • Build and maintain a robust weekly shipment forecast, ensuring actual sales and shipments stay on track with the plan; proactively identify and act on variances
  • Drive transparency and clarity in performance by preparing dashboards and reports that highlight sales, shipment, and inventory trends, enabling effective decision-making across Commercial, Finance, and Operations
  • Partner with the commercial team to monitor inventory health, address slow-moving or at-risk stock, and implement corrective actions to minimize waste or service risk
  • Analyze and identify portfolio opportunities to create value - such as reallocating surplus production, filling demand gaps, or improving SKU productivity
  • Collaborate closely with key market stakeholders to manage planning trade-offs, balance volume across regions, and ensure resource allocation aligns with market needs
  • Prepare and deliver ad hoc analysis, business cases, and scenario planning to support the Commercial Planning Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and other business units in strategic decisions
  • Serve as a key liaison between the commercial team and internal stakeholders, acting as the voice of the market and ensuring local dynamics are represented in global planning
The Talent:
Proven experience in planning functions such as Production Planning, S&OP, Logistics or Sales Planning, ideally within the FMCG or Food industry * Background in import/export planning for food products is highly advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with SAP, APO, or similar planning systems
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to manage high volumes and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A confident communicator who can work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive alignment across regional markets and internal teams
