Sourcing Director $10, 000 - $13, 000 (Depends on experience) Working Days: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm Location: River Valley (Orchard / Great World) : * Plan and manage company's Sourcing Director $10, 000 - $13, 000 (Depends on experience) Working Days: Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm Location: River Valley (Orchard / Great World) : Plan and manage company's overall sourcing strategy Do often research to understand company's operations needs and requirements Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers Negotiate pricing and control costs Develop a yearly budget depending on sourcing needs Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy Write sourcing documentation and statements Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations Job Requirements: Good knowledge of garment industry Related experience of more than 10 years working in a buying house/agency or Garment Factory Has extensive network and connections to factories/suppliers/vendors in the region- Asian countries Ability to travel & work with various overseas factories, mills & suppliers, and have good networking and know how. Advance Apparel merchandising skills & able to lead a team of merchandisers, great communication skills between Agency & Customer, and Agency & factories, mills & suppliers. Excellent knowledge of knit & woven fabrication Full knowledge of garment factory's, mill's & supplier's supply chain process
