Job Summary

Your role is based in Singapore. You will report into the Global Category Manager Commodities & Functional Additives. Front and center of your everyday FMC will require you to display your commitment to our six core values: Integrity, Safety, Sustainability, Respect for People, Agility and Customer Centricity. Using FMC\'s core values as a launching pad to achieve outstanding results in a demanding day to day schedule.

As the Sourcing Manager, you will work within FMC\'s Global Procurement Group as a key member of the Commodity Chemicals team, responsible primarily for sourcing key materials required by the FMC Tollers network in Asia-Pacific for the production of FMC products. You will be responsible for performing category management activities including, but not limited to, category strategy development, strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, contract lifecycle management, supplier relationship and performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. As the ideal candidate you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment along with other bright and motivated individuals.

How You Will Help Us Succeed

We are seeking a candidate that can hit the ground running and make a visible impact within a short period of time. You can anticipate the following key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with functional leads to build subcategory strategies, within Commodities and Functional Additives, based on a thorough understanding of FMC\'s business conditions
• Conduct cost-analysis activities in partnership with finance and the business to identify savings opportunities against management targets
• Identify, contract, and manage strategic relationship for operations and capital expenditure
• Manage seamless business partnerships with the manufacturing, supply chain and manufacturing technology functions
• Develop and execute subcategory sourcing strategies (e.g. RFI, RFP, RFQ, scorecard and bid analysis, etc.)
• Negotiate supplier contracts utilizing FMC contract templates & procedures
• Manage timely and cost-effective resolution of contractual variations with stakeholders and suppliers
• Integrate best practices and modernized business processes across FMC, ensuring best use of tools, techniques and processes
• Collaborate with FMC\'s Global Procurement Group\'s Center of Excellence (CoE) team
• Collaborate with the Global Sourcing Managers in the category to coordinate on global sourcing strategies development and execution, global supplier relationship management and global leverage of supply opportunities originating from APAC.

What You Will Bring to Us

• Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, supply chain or business
• At least 8 - 10 years of international experience within sourcing, procurement, commercial, or operations in a multinational environment (preferably Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, or Chemical sectors)
• Proficiency in Chinese and English. Additional languages can be an advantage.
