Basic Information:

Location: Goldenmile Towers Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent 6 days shift work (S1: 11am to 4pm / S2: 5pm to 12am VB Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in menu creation, ingredient selection, and preparation of dishes. Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Ensure proper food handling, cleanliness, and hygiene practices are followed at all times. Maintain inventory and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies as needed. Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring all dishes are prepared and plated in accordance with restaurant standards. Help manage kitchen staff schedules and training programs. Collaborate with other departments (front of house, management) to ensure smooth service operations. Handle special dietary requests and accommodate any customer needs. Maintain an organized and clean kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Line Cook, or in a similar kitchen leadership role. Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen protocols. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Exceptional attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality food. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.
