Space Utilization Data Collection and AnalysisConduct physical surveys to gather and validate space data, including room sizes, names, ownership, and functional categories.Perform physical audits of office utilization and occupancy, focusing on both general office spaces and specialized areas like labs.Coordinate with lab owners to update and maintain accurate space information, including lab tool layouts and space forecasts.Calculate Net Assignable Space (NAS) and Net Assignable Facilities (NAF) based on factors like utility, power, and HVAC requirements.2. Space Planning & OptimizationDevelop and maintain space plans that support business needs and growth objectives.Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure the efficient use of space.Provide space planning recommendations that consider furnishings, lighting, and other elements to enhance the work environment.3. Database Maintenance and ReportingUpload updated space utilization and NAF data into the Space Planning Database.Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve discrepancies in the space planning database.Manage and update the space inventory database, ensuring the Site Master Plan is current and accurately reflects space utilization.4. Compliance and StandardsEnsure all space plans comply with building codes, regulations, and corporate standards.Lead or participate in the development of space planning policies and procedures.Support the implementation of workplace safety and ergonomics standards in space designs.5. Project Management and Client EngagementProvide support for MAC projects, ensuring that all moves and changes are executed efficiently and meet client requirements.Engage with clients to understand their space planning needs and preferences, offering tailored solutions.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURESProficiency in AutoCAD and other design software like SketchUp.Accuracy and timeliness of data updates in the MS Space system.Quality and speed of response to service requests.Client satisfaction with service delivery and space planning outcomes.Effectiveness in optimizing space utilization and reducing costs.GENERAL REQUIREMENTSDiploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architecture, interior design, urban planning, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years in space planning, ideally within an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. Experience in workplace strategy, design, and sustainability practices is a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Familiarity with MS Space system or similar databases.Experience in corporate environments, particularly in the technology sector, is preferred.Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
