Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (Except Wednesday), 7 am to 4 pm. Wednesday 7 am to 1.30 pm

Deliver clear and effective lessons using a variety of relevant teaching strategies for students with autism Play an important role in the planning and development of curriculum and programmes to facilitate student learning Exhibits deep commitment to the holistic education and development of students Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and with parents in providing quality education and care for the students Understand students' diverse learning and developmental needs, interests, abilities and potential through observations, diagnoses and discussions (with students, parents and colleagues), and adapts approaches accordingly Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team and parents in providing quality education and feedback for students. Plan and write IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation. Guide and coach Teacher Aides

Job Requirements

Recognised Degree or Polytechnic Diploma

Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education is preferred

5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory Preferably 3 years of experience at primary level Familiar with national curriculum Demonstrate passion in teaching * Experience in teaching children and youths with autism will be an added advantage
