We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Special Projects Intern [Business/Ops] to join our growing regional Special Projects team.

About Special Projects: Special Projects sits in the intersection of Finance and Operations, working directly with the Founders and Country MDs on various regional initiatives such as:

  • Fundraising & Business Planning
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Shareholder & Board Management
  • Implementation of Operating Systems & Workflows
  • Evaluating & building external Partnerships

What you'll do:
  • Involve in financial modelling, competitor analysis, preparation of investor materials, outreach, due diligence, shareholder matters etc.
  • Work closely with the finance department on tracking our business plan and financial performance across countries and create business plans for new market entries
  • Work closely with other departments such as the business intelligence and real estate team to track key business KPIs and prepare internal and external presentations
  • Assist in the development of quantitative financial models and collaborate with other departments (Supply chain, Strategy, Marketing, Venture Development) to assist management in decision making
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders incl. shareholders, regional payment & banking partners, enterprise software providers etc.
  • Evaluate and implement new enterprise software to establish and document best practices and operating procedures across countries and regions
  • Involve in system migration tasks, excel sheets cleaning and checking system data
  • Handles back-end data e.g. Vendor, SKUs, Stock take
