The Write Edge is looking for like-minded people to join us as a Specialist English and Writing Teacher across all our 7 physical locations in Singapore!
As a Specialist English and Writing Teacher, you will
- Teach classes with small group sizes of up to 8 students, based on our teaching materials
- Assist with simple curriculum edits or other projects
We are looking for educators who:
- Can communicate in English proficiently
- Scored a minimum of B3 for English Language for O Levels / A Levels
- Are confident and have a good learning attitude
- Are responsible and willing to work hard
- Have a great aptitude for teaching and are nurturing towards children
- Are able to portray oneself as an extension of the company professionally through one’s attire and speech
- Can commit for the period of June to December 2022.
- Holds prior teaching experience, is preferred.
We are only looking for candidates familiar with the Singapore curriculum and assessment systems. We will provide you with the training and teaching materials.
Location(s):
We have 7 branches island-wide: Jurong, Tampines, Bukit Timah, Yishun, Sengkang, Hougang and Serangoon.
Teachers will be assigned to one site and are generally not required to travel to different branches on the same day unless there is unforeseen circumstances.
Work Hours:
4 weekdays and 1 weekend
Weekdays: 2pm - 10pm
Weekend: 830am - 830pm
