This includes physical products, logistics and technical support, as well as pricing and financing solutions.What you\'ll doThe Specialist-Business Analyst (Front Office) is accountable for the scoping and definition of business and system requirements in one or more line of businesses but primarily focused on the Marketing Front Office Teams, and working with the technical teams (on design, build, configuration & test), to ensure that these are delivered to a high quality to the relevant business teams.Performance & DeliveryScope

  • Assist in the definition and capture of the Scope Statement for one or more projects / enhancements within Marketing IM
Business Analysis
  • Understand the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions
  • Work closely with process owners and key end-users to capture detailed, unambiguous business requirements
  • Work with the other business analysts and development teams to capture system requirements across different stages of the trade life cycle and commodities and drive the design of quality technical solutions
System implementation
  • System configuration, security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and data reconciliation
Continuous improvement
  • Assist in optimising business performance by continually looking to improve the alignment between business processes and the CTRM systems, in conjunction with business process owners
  • Gain consensus on new process concepts to move process improvement forward
  • Drive the adoption of best practice in the IM and business domains and support the use of standardised processes, systems, and solutions
Testing
  • Develop and agree test scripts (steps and expected results) with the business SME and IM teams
  • Run unit and system integration tests
  • Ongoing Engagement with the automated testing team to provide requirements for the automation of regression testing
  • Plan and run user acceptance tests
  • Provide business and IM support parallel run testing
  • Helping junior BAs to design and execute test scripts
Support
  • Act as the key specialist point of contact for service providers in problem solving and investigations related to incidents in the Marketing area where they relate to systems
  • Provide 3rd line support including problem root cause analysis and resolution
  • Ensure the knowledge underpinning application/service delivery is documented, managed, and maintained
  • Manage service introduction and deployment of new business functionality, ensuring best practice by any third-party teams
  • Training users on new functionality and creating supporting user manuals
QualificationsWhat we\'re looking for
  • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM or business discipline.
Role-specific knowledge:
  • Physical commodity trading / metals & mining domain knowledge
  • Good grasp of the physical trade life cycle from contract capture to payment
  • Solid understanding of derivative trading (Exchange Cleared and OTC)
  • Functional knowledge of CTRM solutions (specific Aspect systems knowledge - desirable) ideally in the domain of trade integration solutions from exchanges to CTRM
  • Onboarding new products: configuration within Aspect and other sub-systems Engage effectively with key stakeholders to understand business requirements /challenges
  • Translate business requirements into functional design & requirements for build by technical team
  • (Learn where required), configure, test & implement CTRM solutions
  • Analyse issues, identify root cause(s), quantify business impacts, and implement effectual resolutions
  • Recommend and implement solutions in aid of business process enhancements, usability and operational effectiveness
Possess:
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Proven track record in the delivery of CTRM solutions
  • Some technical background - desired
  • IT-savvy candidates without IM-related experience but with relevant industry background may be considered
  • Good expertise of data mining
  • Engaging with the automated testing to automate regression tests on an ongoing basis
  • Engage people and deliver on plans (on time, within scope & of quality)
  • Effectively implement change via appropriate engagement, communication & socialisation
  • Work harmoniously within a team to deliver on work
  • Make decisions based on practicality, logic & a sense of what is right
  • Understand how value is created
