J Carter Centre for Public Speaking is a leader in communication skills for children and teens specialising in programmes for international certification in public speaking.
Speech and Drama Teacher (Freelance)
J Carter Centre is seeking dynamic and creative Speech and Drama educators to coach children ages 7 - 12 years in public speaking and performance skills.- Candidates with some experience in teaching public speaking or drama to primary students is preferred.
- Candidates should have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written) and be able to conduct classes in a fun and exciting manner.
- Candidates should possess a recognised qualification in relation to the position such as Theatre, Speech & Drama or Communication Skills.
- Candidates should be able to teach weekday and weekend classes. Classes (1.5 hours each) are available on both weekday (Wed/Thu/Fri from 3:30pm to 7pm) and weekend (Sat/Sun from 10am to 4pm). Number of classes offered will depend on the experience and ability of the candidate.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo training before teaching any classes.
- Attractive hourly wage on class or semester term, freelance basis.
