Speech Therapist (ahpc, West)
Job Description
Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to general or complex speech and swallowing challenges.
Offer guidance and mentorship to junior therapists while supporting service audits and performance enhancement.
Support department planning, including staff deployment, coverage, and rehabilitation service refinement.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement care protocols and track outcome improvements.
Contribute to staff growth initiatives such as clinical training, drills, competency reviews, and case discussions.
Requirements:
Postgraduate qualification in Communication Disorders or equivalent.
Fully accredited with the local professional board for Allied Health (AHPC).
Over 3 years of hands-on experience in a
community rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
