Description

Duties:

  • The Senior Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • S/he works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care for patients.
  • The Speech Therapist provides education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals.
  • The Senior Speech Therapist contributes to the organisation\'s efforts in providing quality patient care, delivering clinical education and engaging in quality improvement/research activities.
  • In addition, s/he assists in the management of daily operations and department resources, and contributes towards staff development. S/he is also involved in the implementation of the department\'s initiatives and programmes.
