Thomson Kids Pte Ltd is part of the Thomson Medical Group. We are a specialised learning centre for children with developmental delays and learning difficulties. We recognize that some children face unique learning challenges and have different learning needs and potentials. Our centre provides a range of programmes and services such as psychological assessments, psychological therapies, speech and language therapy, Specialised English and Chinese Literacy Programmes. We are looking for experienced speech and language therapists to join our group practice. Job responsibilities:
- Conducting initial assessment of children (between ages 3 years and 12 years old) with expressive, receptive and pragmatic social language delays.
- Administer standardized language tests and to prepare reports.
- Conducting individual or group interventions for children with articulation difficulties, expressive and receptive language issues and social communication difficulties.
- Providing regular updates to parents on students\xe2\x80\x99 performance and progress.
- Attending and participating in staff meetings.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master degree in Speech and Language Pathology from recognized university.
- At least three years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working with children with language delays, autism, ADHD.
- At least five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience for Senior Speech and Language Therapists.
- Holds a valid practicing certificate with The Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Energetic with a cheerful personality.
- Passionate in helping students with learning and developmental delays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- 5 days work week (4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend)
- Full time or part-time position available.
