Job Overview

The Senior Accountant in Singapore will support all aspects of accounting for Keurig Dr Pepper (\xe2\x80\x9cKDP\xe2\x80\x9d) legal entities in Asia. The role will primarily support the Singapore operations and as well as other Asia entities in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Shenzhen. He / She will provide financial guidance to business management teams, provide P&L, and balance sheet accounting support within the Controller\xe2\x80\x99s organization and will be responsible the month-end close process. Additionally, this role will support internal KDP customers (including local Senior management, IT, Treasury, Tax, HR and other internal stakeholders) as well as assisting our third-party service provider with outsourced tasks and reviewing entries and reconciliations prepared by that team. This role will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare journal entries and perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts) to ensure an efficient and accurate general ledger.
• Manage month end close, reporting activities and deadlines. Review and coordination of tasks performed by external service provider.
• Process and code non-PO invoices to assist in the AP payment process.
• Approve concur expenses reports pending for accounting review.
• Support Singapore buy and sell project, its implementation, and operations on a business-as-usual basis.
• Monitor intercompany AR AP transactions, propose monthly intercompany payments.
• Coordinate with tax consultant for GST filling.
• Assists in preparation of reports & analyses required for Tax purposes.
• Act as a support liaison with Internal / External auditors
• Responsible for and assist in annual statutory and internal audits
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with KDP accounting and finance staff in North America. Works closely to develop strong business relationships and understanding of interdependencies with the IT, AP, AR,Treasury, Finance, Accounting Controllership, Sales, purchase, and others business department partners as needed.
• Works in collaboration with various global controller teams within KDP to improve global processes and implement those changes within Asia
• Ad hoc requests and projects as necessary
• Participate in presentations to management

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of experience in accounting. CPA (completed or in process) or similar certification preferred but not required
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP, Tagetik or similar reporting system
• Great attention to detail with good analytical skills.
• Ability to follow Keurig Singapore and other countries policies and procedures as well as uphold our purpose and values
• Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and constantly seek ways to improve
• A good team player with demonstrated problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
