Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for embedded software driver/middleware/application development and testing for Renesas Microcontrollers
• Responsible to create knowledge base and training materials

• Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or its equivalent
• Good understanding of Integrated Development Environment tools such as simulator, debugger, emulator.
• Proficient in C and assembly language programming with a good understanding of microcontrollers/microprocessor basic architecture.
• Good understanding of hardware, schematics and able to debug and troubleshooting
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle
• Creative and have a passion for embedded system design and development.
• Possess good presentation and communication skills.
• A team player who is self-motivated, resourceful, proactive and able to work in a collaborative environment with both individual and team decision making
• Able to manage and coordinate work to be done in a team
• Ability to understand and execution of given project specification within the timeline
• Willing to travel
• At least 2-3 years\' experience preferred.
• Entry level candidates with the required proficiency will be considered as well

• Knowledgeable in CAD Tools such as Altium schematic entry and Layout or equivalent
• Knowledge on Embedded RTOS (Amazon FreeRTOS, Azure)/Linux Platforms/Energy/Power Measurements/Motor Control/IoT/communication stacks (CAN, TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Wired/Wireless LAN, PLC, NFC) and security protocols.
• Experience in version control (Git, SVN), Jira and confluence
