Amgen is seeking an Sr. Associate IS Security Engineer who will be reporting into the Global Information Protection Organization in Amgen and will be based in Singapore, SG at Amgen’s Singapore Office. The IS Security Engineer will report to the Manager of Information Security – Vendor Risk and B2B Enablement Services and play a critical role in Information Security for Amgen and will lead or support assigned capabilities within Information Security with the focus on vendor risk management and business-to-business technology enablement, as well as related third-party risk, access management & controls, information management, information governance, and compliance. This role will require some customer services skillsets in order to build relationships and define customer goals for success. Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical and governance oversight to all B2B Enablement and Third -Party Engagement needs. Serve as the security engineer in the analysis, design and implementation of Amgen DTI projects that are looking to onboard a new Supplier/Vendor and/or leverage a technology platform to enable the business processes.
• Serve as the business-facing lead within the Japan-Asia region for the Information Security organization to enable strong understanding and alignment of business needs, control objectives, and risk appetite
• Able to articulate GIP (Global Information Protection) services, implement Information Security’s strategy, standards, policies and procedures across and oversee compliance of information security program objectives within business functions
• Develop and/or enhance Third Party Risk Management practices in alignment with IS controls and standards.
• Advise the business on Information Security’s services, processes, and available resources and ensure proper alignment with business objectives
• Assist in interpreting local laws and regulations pertaining to information security and develop reasonable solutions and/or mitigations where applicable
• Develop or participate in the development of business cases and presentations on information security technologies of interest to Amgen
• Partner with the GRC Principle IS Architect to refine and develop the DTI local/regional strategies, ensuring security requirements, priorities and business needs are considered
• Establish and maintain approved security patterns, methods and reusable elements to expedite solutions approval through SDLC
• Advise Business Owners, IT Application Owners, and other Information Security teams on information security controls in alignment with ServiceNow.
• Perform security consulting in support of projects including participation in unified strategy decisions as necessary
• Develop insightful strategies for engaging the Amgen business functions on information security matters and gain buy-in from Amgen’s functional business leaders to define what the business requires from information security
• Participate in departmental compliance knowledge building exercises as needed.
• Domestic and International travel up to 10%.

Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree and 4 year of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience Or Associate’s degree and 12 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience Or High school diploma / GED and 14 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile Product teams
• Knowledge of SAAS & Cloud Platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, Jira, AWS, & Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to understand the concepts of new cloud technologies and other paradigms such as emerging Big Data technologies, lean methodologies to propose appropriate controls and compliance guidance.
• Exceptional teaming skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, understanding and appreciating differences
• Working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle processes.
• Strong ability to convey and influence complex information, security issues, and emerging technology trends in a manner that is easily understood and actionable
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, LAN, WAN, SSL, Firewall, Load Balancer, and DMZ configurations
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate and drive organizational change
• Ability to apply working knowledge of compliance regulations, quality principles, and IS control standards.
• Developing / delivering presentations to large audiences and at all levels within the organization
• Knowledge of ServiceNow
• Comprehensive experience with Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure as well as understanding of Identity and Access Management.
• Experience with mobile device authentication and management
• Successful management of multiple priorities
